Here are a few examples of my photographs. Each of these was taken at a North Edison Girl Scout event and submitted to the local newspapers. Many were published there, most with photo credits, a big thrill for me.
Please note that each of these are copyright the photographer. If you would like to use one for something please contact me at me e-mail address and we can discuss the use.
The photo on the left was taken in September 1996 at the first Silver Award Ceremony we've had in some time. In the Spring of 1997 we again presented some of our Cadettes with this prestigious award.

This group, open to all North Edison Girl Scouts Junior Level and up, has performed all over the area. The photo on the left was taken last December at a store in a local shopping mall. They sang several times at a local nursing home as at the right. Last year they helped our council celebrated it's 25th anniversary by singing there. The most fun was last August when the group sang at National Headquarters of Girl Scouts of the USA, the first such group since that facility opened. I sent a picture from that event to Girl Scout Leader and am keeping my fingers crossed. The leader of this group, Ginger Haselden, was named Distinguished Leader by the Delaware-Raritan Girl Scout Council. The color photos were taken during the 2000 Holidays. Once again the chorus sang at the same mall. The others were taken at the local veteran's home where they sang for the Special Needs patients.

This was the first of what we hope will be an annual event. Each "couple" enjoyed dinner and dancing to a local disk jockey. Photos were given to each attendee as well as a rose for each girl.

Each year the Girl Scouts of the North Edison Service Unit collect and distribute gifts during the Holiday Season. This year the gifts went to a local shelter for single-parent, homeless families.

Each year the Girl Scouts of North Edison enjoy a night out with their families and fellow scouts at a 50's style sock hop. Many dress in cloths of that era and dance to music from a local disk jockey.

In addition to the Sock Hop a bake-off is held at the same event for Junior Girl Scouts. Each girl must bake a scratch cake recipe entirely on their own. Troops hold bake-offs on their own to determine who bakes for the main event.

The members of Junior Troop 1411 put on a puppet show at our local library to entertain a group of small children in an afternoon reading group.

In May, 1997 the Girl Scouts of the North Edison Service Unit marched in the annual Township Memorial Day Parade. Unfortunately, it rained very hard all day. They were one of the few groups that actually marched in this weather.

Here are some photos of our Service Unit's 2000 Girl Scout Cookie Delivery

One Troop in our Service Unit ran a Gingerbread House contest. Each house was judged against others at the same program level. One overall best house prize was given. Each house was then donated to a local Nursing Home, Shelter or Library for display.
