Here are some of the photos I took at GG2000, the 2000 East Coast wagggs-l Camporee. I will be adding and modifying captions. Please e-mail me at gsphotoguy@worldnet.att.net if you find errors or names missing. The memory, after all, is like a sive these days.
Like all good events, the first day started with Breakfast. After some issues with power and multiple cooking devices the attendees sat down, together, for pancakes sausages, coffee and juice.

The first of many great workshops followed. Beyond Geckos, Adventures in Beading was held in the recreation Center, scene of most of the indoor workshops and many other group activities.

The littlest Girl Scout even made an appearance after the workshop

After lunch, at Site 19, Sallie Zeil ran a workshop on Batik. Adults and children had a great time painting their own designs on all kinds of objects.

Here is some of the fine work hanging to dry.

The final workshop of July 6, led by Barb Hunter, was titled Beyond Ziplock Baggies. She presented clever ways of distributing recognitions to the girls as well as some of her SWAP ideas.

The final event of July 6 was a Ghost Tour of the downtown Gettysburg area. We met in town and were walked around, after dark of course, hearing stories about the ghosts that are still thought to "live" in the area.

After our return and everyone was in bed for the night we all thought we heard rain. When we got up the next morning all traces of rain were gone. For the rest of the week this became known as the Ghost Rain.
