From Interstate 780, continue north past the I-80 Interchange until I-780 ends and it becomes a local street - Curtola Parkway. Stay on Curtola Parkway to the third light after the freeway, which will be a 5-way intersection. Bear hard left onto Solano Ave. Go west to the shelter on the northwest corner of the Sonoma Blvd intersection (on the right hand side).

Fairmont Drive is an exit from US 580 in San Leandro; just turn north (going up the hill) on Fairmont Drive and take the first left turn near the top of the hill. If you are coming from Castro Valley, Lake Chabot Road becomes Fairmont Drive as you go up the hill from that side; then turn right.

From the North, take 101 South to the Westside Road, Guerneville Exit. Go right off the exit onto Westside road. Go under the overpass (101) about 1/2 mile. You will see a sign pointing you to the left into the City Corporation Yard. Turn in there.

Located just east of the 880 Freeway, and just south of the Oakland Coliseum. From the 880, take the Hegenberger/Coliseum Exit and take Hegenberger east, away from the bay and towards the hills. The second light is Baldwin Street, just past the Pak n Save. The SPCA is on the right side of Baldwin Street, at the end of the ivy-covered wall.

South: Traveling on Hwy 101, take the Dore Ave. exit. Make an immediate left onto North Bayshore Blvd. You will pass a few hotels on the right, then a golf course. Make a right on Coyote Point Drive, then take the second left, Airport Blvd. The shelter is the first building on the right side.

From the North Bay, take Highway 101 across the Golden Gate Bridge. Stay on 101 heading south, and exit at Lombard. Take Lombard (approx 12 blocks) to Van Ness. Make a right turn on Van Ness and follow for approx 2 miles, all the way across Market St (where the street turns into South Van Ness). Continue on for four blocks until you reach 16th Street. Make a left onto 16th. It's 2-1/2 blocks down on the left.

From the East Bay, take I-80 West across the Bay Bridge. Exit at 9th Street Civic Center offramp. Make a wide left turn onto Harrison (a multi-lane, 1-way Street). Follow for approximately 6 blocks, to 16th Street. Make a left onto 16th -- shelter is 1/2 a block up on the left.

From the Peninsula,take Highway 101 (or 280 north to the 101) north. Exit at the Vermont Street offramp. Make first left onto Vermont Street. Follow 2 blocks downhill to 16th Street. Make a left onto 16th and follow for approximately 4 block. It's on the right side, 1/2 a block past the light at Bryant Street.

From Santa Cruz/Scotts Valley: Take Highway 1 south to Soquel Drive exit. One off the freeway, proceed right until you reach the light at Soquel Avenue. Turn left onto Soquel Avenue and then make another left onto Seventh. Turn left on Rodriguez Street at the 4-way stop sign. The Santa Cruz SPCA is on your immediate left.

From Capitola/Aptos/Watsonville: Take Highway 1 north to Soquel Drive exit. Turn left and proceed over the freeway to Seventh Avenue. Turn left onto Seventh Avenue. Turn left on Rodriguez Street at the 4-way stop sign. You will find the Santa Cruz SPCA on your left.

It is located on the right hand side of the road across from Willie Bird Turkey, Santa Rosa Saddlery and right next to Laguna Veterinary Hospital. The administrative offices are located in the blue and white house towards the road and the shelter is located across the parking lot.
