I paint many of my oil paintings in a style which I think of as being traditional and “casual - realist”. I like to use glazes to let the light shine through from the underpainting.

Recently I have also been working in more contemporary styles and direct digital manipulations and printing.
I print my own custom reproductions and limited edition prints on heavy watercolor paper. All prints are coated with UV resistant coatings which are estimated to provide protection for up to 100 years.
My subject interest is grounded in realist motifs. I try to extract an essence of mood or feeling of each motif. My reproductions and limited edition prints are carefully developed to convey just the color and mood which the original oil painting expresses. In developing my direct digital prints I try also to extract essences of colors and moods which I find in the motif.
