January/February 2008
Dear Family and Friends,
Your prayers have so effectively helped us here in the ministry. The Bingerville
church is continuing its development. Construction on the school building is
well underway with construction to begin soon on the church building. Our clinic
is meeting the health needs of the population with many terrific stories of
people coming to Christ. Our literacy classes provide many opportunities for us
to discuss the Scriptures especially with Muslims. The Bible College has
successfully completed it first semester this year and will start the second
semester on March 1.
In this first letter of 2008, we would like to update you on the family. Bob
continues working in the ministries listed above as well as others. Last year
was a very challenging year with much to do. After suffering for most of this
month of February with an illness, he is now arranging his schedule in a more
practical manner.
Becky continues directing our children’s schooling. Bobby is in ninth grade.
Marylyn is in seventh, and Luc is in K5. As well, Becky has been developing a
special program for Morganne’s development as a 10 year old. In the ministry,
Becky continues to lead the lady’s group at the church. She also is putting
together different singing groups within the church to develop more special
music for the church services.
Bobby is nearly as tall as his father now. He plays the guitar for the church
services and choir and sings as well with the choir. He has joined a Basketball
club here in Bingerville that hopes to play in the big national tournament next
year. Also, he plays on the church soccer team.
Marylyn is still making her plans to be a nurse. She often volunteers her time
and help at our clinic. She is practicing the violin and the piano. As well, she
participates in the young girls singing group at church. She also teaches a
Sunday School story each week for the Infant to four year old class.
Morganne loves to care for our six security dogs. She makes sure they are well
fed and watered. She likes to do exercises with her mother. At church, Morganne
likes to help with the Infant to four year old class. One young man was so
touched to see the way Morganne worked with the children that he volunteered
himself to help in that class.
Luc is Luc. Before church, he fusses if he thinks his clothes do not match
perfectly, yet after church his clothes are completely soiled from all the rough
and tumble with his friends. He keeps us laughing. He enjoys school and playing
ball with his brother. (Editor's note: click on the photo

Please pray for our children. Missionary kids are not from the country where
they are serving, so they are challenged to fit in with the teens on the field.
Yet the missionary kids have not grown up in America, so they do not necessarily
feel at home when stateside. Thank you for your prayers as we work to help them
arrive at well adjusted adulthood.
Most sincerely in Christ,

Robert C. Mach
