Hello Friends and Supporters,

Thanks for your prayers during our time of furlough. We are in the Missions Conference of Grandview Park Baptist Church. The theme is His Name to the Nations. Last night we spoke to two groups of Awana kids. Today I speak for two hours in the Spanish III and Spanish IV classes at the school. Tonight Sharon speaks at a Ladies Night Out. Tomorrow I speak to the Geography class at the school and then on Friday night we speak two different times presenting our ministry. On Saturday I speak at the Men's prayer breakfast and then in the afternoon we have a church picnic. On Sunday I speak to an adult Sunday School class, preach in the morning and present our ministry in the evening service. So this is our first time of officially presenting our work here in the states and then we will go on from here. We don't have our DVD presentation quite ready so pray that we will have it soon. It has been great fellowship and we praise the Lord for His faithfulness.

Our schedule her in the midwest is just about complete. Here is what we have pretty well confirmed so far. We are still missing a few Minnesota churches, but they are the fairly close ones and we have been in contact with all of them.

After Christmas we are heading out to Washington and then we'll start reporting to our churches there after we get settled in. We have some meetings scheduled there. Pray about a trip to Israel that Raquel and I are tentatively scheduling for the last of February into the first of March. This will be led by Pastor Brian Wiita and his wife. So we plan on two weeks of action in the holy land. This is depending upon scheduling and funds. Raquel and I are both working and saving to make this happen. Raquel works in gardens and I have done some construction on an office building and three decks and some steps.

We are thoroughly enjoying family and the activities of Northern Minnesota. The boys and I made a tree house in the front yard. I have gone ricing (wild rice) on two different lakes wait out in the sticks (don't ask where - it's a secret!). We have all caught fish on the lakes and swam. We gardened and put up hay. We have done canoeing, paddle boats, normal boats etc. on the lakes and rivers up here. We've taken hikes on Indian trails. We have gotten the hunting cabin and are in the middle of hunter's safety course in preparation for hunting. I took two seminary classes and am trying to get the homework done. Of course we are keeping up with Perú, communications and preparations for our ministry here in the states.

Pray for Sharon that she would sleep well on our travels. Sometimes she can get on a streak of no sleep and that makes it rough for her to survive. The kids and Mom need your prayers to be able to adapt to the different places and still get their school work done. Pray for our lives to impact others while we report and brush into people on our travels. Thanks for keeping up with us and praying. May God use you today.
