Our Philosophy:
- We only buy items we think will be good sellers.
- This is a specialty clothing shop; we do not sell toys or equipment
      (we do occasionally carry high end strollers and diaper bags).
- We're proud of our reputation for being "really picky", as we are
     constantly told by those trying to sell to us.  Please do not be
     offended when we are unable to use some of your items. 
- Our prices are 30-50% of retail, we pay you 1/3 of that amount
     upfront  (No waiting for your items to sell before being paid.)

How to sell us your clothing:
- Ensure your clothes are clean, in style, and in excellent condition.
- Refer to the home page if you're wondering what brands we want.
       ( You'll notice in kids listing that certain brands that everyone
          has are NOT mentioned, most notably Old Navy, Children's Place,
          Disney, Carters, and Oshkosh.  This is not an oversight, we really
         DO NOT carry these brands, so please do not bring them to us.)

- Please take the time to GO THROUGH your clothing before your
     appointment.  Some stains do show up during storage.  Pull out any
     brands and items we do NOT want (like toys, bibs, blankets, onsies).
- We carry girls clothing to size 10, boys to size 5, and all sizes maternity.
- If you feel you have what we need, call to book your appointment.
- Please bring the appropriate season!
- Bring items neatly folded.  Keep outfits together.
- It is not necessary to iron or hang your items.

Our buying schedule:
- Appointments scheduled:  February - May : spring/summer
                                                  August - November : fall/winter

-  Everyone with an appointment scheduled is encouraged to CALL
      the shop that morning OR CHECK this website in case I am
     delayed or cannot make it in due to inclement weather (or illness,
     god forbid!).  I change the voicemail message & website by
    8:30 AM if there is any news.

Why?  You want to make sure the owner is actually there to look at
    your clothing, and it's helpful to know what we are looking for at
    any given time.  
            
Our Exchange Policy:
    We offer exchanges for store credit only within 2 weeks of purchase.
    ALL tags must be attached.  Absolutely NO exceptions to this rule!
    A Great & Small Shop Gift Certificate may be issued in lieu of
           merchandise if you like.  Gift Certificates are good for 2 years
           from date of issue and are NOT redeemable for cash.
     Clearance items from End of Season Sales are FINAL SALE.
