Miry Brook Cemetery
Miry Brook Cemetery
Headstone of Nathan Benedict - note the crumbling (from
crystallization of the limestone) of the stone on the right side.
This is a common problem with limestone.
Headstone of Thomas Wildman. Note the "bearded cherub"
figure at the top of the stone. This type of carving is seldom seen
in the Danbury area, and almost always on stones of the latter 18th
century.
A double headstone for Lemuel Benedict and his wife,
Esther
