in the class didn't master this yet.

02/04/2008 - Shavora thought she would add some math skills to her training by watching Emily do her homework. It appeared that it was harder than she thought, so Shavora tried a different way to learn... by eating the papers. At least Emily has proof that her dog really did eat her homework. |

02/11/2008 - 1st picture shows puppy-class instuctor Irene teaching Shavora to "high-5". Second picture shows Shavora practicing "leave it" with a treat on the floor. However, cat Walker gets jealous and wants in on the action. So Shavora has to learn to ignore the cat and focus on the task in front of her. |

02/13/2008 - 1st picture shows Sondra/Shavora and Marcella/Aili socializing while waiting for some one-on-one instruction at a dog confirmation class. Next picture shows Sondra getting some one-on-one time with one of the instructors. |

Sondra was asked to put Shavora up on this table and then was shown how Shavora should stand. (Next time Sondra will get help lifting this not-so-small pup.) Finally, when all was done Sondra and Shavora rested while waiting for Marcella to finish up. |

02/16/2008 - Sister Shavora roughs it up with brother Danzig at the Enumclaw, WA dogshow. Jarna is Danzig's owner and lives near Enumclaw. We took a number of pictures of the two puppies for comparison. For more pictures at this dog show, click here. |

2/17/2008 - Sondra gave Shavora some "spoil her" time by letting her
up on the bed for a little lovin'. Up-on-the-bed time is reserved for
very special treats.
2/22/2008 - Shavora looks up for the camera after attempting to remove Emily's sock since Emily just kept ignoring her. (We can't get over Shavora's coat color change to include a lot of black.) |

2/27/2008 - For Shavora's 5-month birthday today, Sondra took her out into the goat's pen (leashed of course). It wasn't all fun and games for Shavora. That herding instinct is pretty strong, along with the puppy "chase it" tendency. So she had to be restrained. But it was a start. |

When Shavora tried going after one of the goats one time, the B&W rooster got underfoot. Fortunately he was no worse for the wear. |
