Here are some of the things GFP has planned for 2000: Expand GFP Network to assist lesbian artists across the country. Currently, the GFP network involves talent from NY, NJ, ME, PA, MD, DC & MI; Continue to introduce outstanding national talent to local venues and disprove the myth that "you don't have to be good to perform at a gay venue, you only have to be gay"; This will be the second year GFP will be supporting the entertainment for the Fourth Annual Breast Cancer Benefit at FOREVERGREEN as well as coordinating an auction for the event; GFP has been commissioned to produce a CD to benefit local non- profit breast cancer organizations in association with the annual event at FOREVERGREEN. The CD will include local & national talent that perform regularly for our community here on Long Island and have agreed to donate their time. 100% of the proceeds from this endeavor will be donated; and GFP will continue to support organizations that benefit the women in our community either directly or indirectly including ASTRAEA, Women's Sports Foundation, NOW, NYWF, Empire State Pride Agenda & OUTINLI.
