In nature, animals that live in the same area don't usually eat the same kinds of food.  Some animals (like zebras) eat grass that is close to the ground. Others (like gerenuks) eat leaves on low bushes. Giraffes eat leaves high up in the trees.  Giraffes are browsers. They eat leaves and buds from trees and bushes. They do not usually eat grass.
