Foundation Fundraiser
The following is from Debra...
"Getting
Together" - EMT Foundation Fundraiser #4
DEADLINE
FOR THIS WAS MARCH 23RD. WATCH FOR THE NEXT FUNDRAISER FOR THE
BOBBY SHERMAN VOLUNTEER EMT FOUNDATION!!
Thank
you from Debra
It's
that time again for "Getting Together" for Bobby and another
EMT Foundation Fundraiser! As many people had expenses during the holidays,
I thought it was best to postpone the fundraiser until more people were
in a position to participate. As many of you may be aware, I was fortunate
enough to obtain 4 episodes of "Getting Together" on 16mm
film and converted them to VHS video. In an effort to share these treasures
with Bobby fans and to help Bobby's EMT Foundation at the same time,
I am holding another fundraiser. Since it is illegal to sell copies
of these videos, I am going to "give" a copy to anyone willing
to make a donation to the Bobby Sherman Volunteer EMT Foundation. I
have been offering the episodes one at a time so that everyone can better
afford to donate and this is the third of those 4 episodes to be offered.
The episode being offered for donations is "All Shook Up,"
which was episode #3 from October 2, 1971. This is the episode where
big brother Bobby agonizes over kid sister Jenny's first date. Many
remember this episode as the one with Bobby as the "good guy"
dressed all in white and on the white horse racing to save innocent
Jenny from her dastardly first date - Milton! The episode is in color
and includes both opening and closing credits. Due to the rarity of
this episode, I am asking for a $50 donation to the Foundation. For
an additional $30 donation, I will include a compilation tape of over
1-1/2 hours of Bobby on various appearances. The appearances on this
tape are Bobby's 4 QVC appearances when he was there to represent K-TEL's
Ultimate History of Rock 'n Roll music collection. The shows were done
'live' July 3, 1997, August 19, 1997 (a morning and an afternoon appearance)
and October 20, 1997. You will actually see Bobby out of uniform and
in civilian clothes (except for the October appearance where he is wearing
his EMT uniform). Also included is "CBN Fall Preview" from
August 18, 1985 where Bobby hosted this half hour special previewing
the CBN Network's new fall line-up. The next feature is Bobby's
appearance on "The 700 Club" from October 16, 1985. This one
starts with an interview by his pool area at his home and continues
on to show you his Disneyland replica, theater room, recording studio
and a partial glimpse of his "Mr. Success" video that was
never released. The last feature is Bobby on Disney's "Mickeytone
News" from April of 1986 (taped 2/11/86) showing us his Disneyland
replica.
For those of you who may have missed the
first three Fundraisers, I offered tapes of other "Getting Together"
episodes as well as Bobby's appearances on "Old Faithful, "Jigsaw
John" and a REACT commercial from 1988. These are still available
if anyone is interested and you can write me for a full list with the
donation amount asked for each. The previous three fundraisers were
very successful and raised a total of $4,345, so let's keep the support
going!
If you have any questions or want to place
an order, please e-mail
me. Deadline to order is Sunday, March 23, 2003.
Thank you in advance for your interest
and your donations! Together we can all help save lives!
Getting it Together for Bobby,
Debra
