24 Intimate Hours With Bobby Sherman

Did you ever wonder what time Bobby gets up in the morning?  If he brushes his teeth before he takes shower?  What he eats for lunch?  Well, don't keep yourself in the dark any longer!  Now YOU can find out all the intimate facts about Bobby!  For he has invited YOU only to spend a day with him!

With the first click of the clock-radio, Bobby slowly opened his beautiful blue eyes.   He eyed the face of the clock with a slight frown as the wake-up music suddenly burst forth.  It was 6:00 a.m., time to rise and start another hectic day.

Bobby pushed his falling locks from his eyes and climbed out of bed to start the morning rituals.  Flashing his lovely smile at his reflection in the bathroom mirror, Bobby yawned once and reached for the toothpaste.  Vigorously he brushed his teeth until they gleamed extra bright!  Then, he ran a soapy wash-cloth over his face to soften his beard.  With a mound of shaving cream over his jaws and chin, he carefully shaved with his razor.

Shaving finished, Bobby turned on the shower and stepped out of his pajamas.   Quickly he got under the needle-like spray.  Bobby doesn't have to wait for the water to get hot because he always takes his showers luke-warm!  Hot showers make him sleepy!

JUST ORANGE JUICE - Back in the bedroom Bobby selects a blue shirt, black scarf and levis.  Sitting on the edge of the bed he puts on his shoes and socks, then runs a comb through his hair and snaps off the radio.

Once dressed, Bobby fixes himself breakfast - a tall glass of orange juice.  He never has anything else.  A big breakfast just doesn't agree with him in the morning!

It was 6:45 now, and Bobby hurried outside to where his Rolls Royce was parked.  It only takes him about 10 minutes to get to work.  As usual, Bobby glanced at the sky to see what kind of day it would be, then paused to say a few cheery words to the elderly lady walking her dog!  Then he got into his car and headed for the Columbia Ranch.

GROOVY IN THE MORNING - Bobby's first stop once at work is at the wardrobe room, where he undresses and dresses in his "working" outfit.  From there, he makes a stop at the make-up department, then it's on to the set!

Before shooting begins, everyone exchanges cheery good mornings and smiles.  What Bobby especially likes about the entire cast and crew of the "Brides" is that everyone feels groovy in the morning.  There's not a grouch around!  This makes everything start off on the right track!

Until around 1:00, Bobby is busy shooting and re-shooting scenes.  Or, if he isn't in the part being shot, he watches the others work, or talks to anyone who is free.   Sometimes Bridget comes over, and they have a cup of coffee together!  She and Bobby always seem to have some time for each other between takes.

At 1:00 a halt is called in shooting for a lunch break until around 2:00.   Sometimes if Bobby doesn't feel like going out he'll shoot a game of pool, or just stay in his dressing room playing the guitar or writing songs.

BIG MEAL OF THE DAY - Today, though Bobby worked extra hard and is famished!  When he eats lunch, it is his big meal of the day.  Usually he goes to the Yankee Pedler Restaurant.  The food is extra-good here, and Bobby likes the friendly atmosphere, and a chance to get away from the studio!

Everything on the menu looks superb, but Bobby orders the specialty of the house.   Today it is a tossed green salad, which Bobby eats with oil and vinegar, tomato soup, a baked potato and Beef Ragout, one of his favorites!  No dessert though for Bobby, except on weekends when he sometimes assembles a 7 course meal!  He's an excellent cook, when he isn't too lazy!

After lunch, Bobby's back on the set again, where he usually stays until 7:00.   Long day?  It seems so, but Bobby enjoys his work, and really doesn't notice the time until he realizes he's pretty tired.

HOME TO RELAX - By 7:30 Bobby usually is home, unless he goes out to his parents' house in the Valley to use his recording studio.   But tonight, he's just going to relax.  First, another warm shower to wash away the dust and grime of the day.

With the stereo going, and comfortable in his warm lounging robe, Bobby's ready for a light dinner.  Tonight he fixes a pork chop and a dish of vegetables.

Afterwards Bobby spends time with his singing, or practices his photography.  He's quite an amateur photographer and loves to experiment with various techniques!

Once in a while, he'll check out his favorite television programs.  He especially likes "The Bill Cosby Show" and "Mission Impossible", but they are both on Sunday evenings.

OCCASIONAL DATE - Bobby usually likes to be in bed by 10:00!  He needs a lot of sleep to feel up to working hard the next day.   Sometimes, though he has an early date.  Then he goes to the drive-in movie, where "I can kick my shoes off and be comfortable".  When he does go, it is to see a really great film, or a "spook" show!

Tonight Bobby put down his guitar at 9:30.  He was sleepier than he thought!   Turning off the lights, he started for the bathroom when he was interrupted by the telephone.  Tired as he was, Bobby spent a few minutes talking with his caller.   He never turns his back upon a friend in need, let alone someone who thinks enough about him to want to talk to him!

Afterwards, his teeth vigorously scrubbed, Bobby pulled back the covers, took off his robe and sprang into bed.

The alarm set for 6:00, he settled himself deep into the soft pillow and closed his beautiful blue eyes to dream - perhaps of YOU?
