Italian Oval  - A soft neck garlic,  common term for this type of  sativum garlic. The Italian Oval is a artichoke variety. Typically has 3-4 cloves in row. There is NO stem or scape on sativum garlic, just a series of leaves. The artichoke variety types produce a medium size plant ,approxamately 2 feet tall.
