After installation the Standard Edition will run for a 60-day free-trial period before you have to purchase. This is to let you verify that the software is running correctly and that it's a product you want to buy.

Now with checklists covering almost every species in the world. Update #10 includes support for high quality streamed video as recommended by the hbw/ibc site (you need to download and install VLC, but its free), and many other improvements. Has been tested and works with every Birding website that has pics, videos or songs and to add a link from a displayed webpage usually all you have to do is to double-click on the data-entry field and the link will be inserted.

You can safely download and install an update over your currently installed version, whether you have purchased the software or not.
Do not uninstall the old software unless you want to replace the database of birds.

If you're ready to purchase The Birder's NotebookTM Standard Edition you MUST provide the Reference Number provided by the software after you installed it on your computer. Without this number we cannot email you the Registration Key that will allow the software run permanently on your machine.

Your purchase entitles you to run the Standard Edition on the computer where it was installed and in addition, once you have purchased the software, we will send you Registration Keys for up to 2 additional computers that you own. The additional Keys MUST be requested by reply to, or forwarding of, the email we send you with the first Registration Key and you must include the Reference Number provided by the software for each of the other computers.
