2 CONT and Thursa are buried in Old Zion Cumberland Presbyterian
2 CONT Church Cemetery, White Co.  He was in CSA Co. B, 1st Battalion,
2 CONT 50th Regiment, Tenn. Infantry.  The battalion was commanded
2 CONT by Col. Stephen H. Colms.  Julius was on a roster of Organization
2 CONT and Candidates, dated 6 Feb. 1864, as a Private.  Julius had

2 CONT At the time of the 1850 Van Buren Co., Tenn. census, Caffrey and SusanMartin lived with thei
2 CONC r son Thomas and his family.  They both apparentlydied in the 1850s.  The last known record o
2 CONC f Susannah was when sheappeared on the 1850 census.  He was probably living as late as 1854
2 CONC ; hewas found on a District 5, Van Buren Co. tax list for 1854.  He was awitness to the 12 De
2 CONC c. 1850 bounty land application of Elizabeth Martin,widow of Stephen Martin, when he appeare
2 CONC d in person before Van Buren Co.Justice of the Peace Elijah Hill.  Caffrey then stated that h
2 CONC e sawStephen Martin during his term of service in the War of 1812.  He saidthat Stephen had i
2 CONC n his possession a furlough signed by Captain Doak andthat he returned soon afterward to th

2 CONC .  The names of her parentsare not known. She may have been the daughter of John Richardson a
