Thomas Henry

Benton Henry notes:
"Thomas-probably in household of George and Annie before 1820"
"Thomas-probably the extra male 18-26 in household of Joseph Henry-WhiteCounty-1820"
"White County 1830 Census, Page 48 (next to Joseph Henry)
"Thomas Henry - 1 m 1825-1830; 1 m 1790-1800, i F 1800-10"
"Thomas Henry-Administrator - Estate SAle of Wm Parker, Dec'd.
(Wm. Parker b 1770-80 m. 5 September 1799 Tabitha Bohannon, in Knox Co.,TN
Tabitha, b 1774, VA, was daughter of WM Bohannon (1730 VA 1816 White Co.,TN)"
"No record found of Thomas Henry after 1835, anywhere in Tennessee, evidently left the state. Best guess: ILL, MO, Ark, or Ohio--WilsonParker (s/o Wm) Was in Madison County Arkansas by 1850."Benton Henrynotes:

Lewis Bohannon

"By the time Lewis Bohannon married Catherine Henry in 1851, he was 68years old and he had outlived two wives. Only two of his 15 grownchildren -- the first born in 1804 in Knox County, Tennessee; the restborn 1806-1826 in White County were nearby. All the rest had scatteredto Ill, Iowa, MO., Ark, and ALA. When Lewis died without a will in 1853,he had a siable estate -- A fine farm of 546 acres (in 1842) and elevenslaves. The records don't state why Catherine filed suit against theother heirs in September 1855, but the squabble dragged though the courtsof White and Putnam Counties for the next 14 years. If it weren't forall these Court records, little would be known about the large family ofLewis Bohannon.
One of the heirs of Lewis was a grandons, William Henry, who waslisted as being in Illinois in 1853, sone of Dicey (Bohannon) Henry, dec'd. No record has been found of Dicey, Son William, or the given nameof his father. Assuming that Dicey married one of the Henrys of WhiteCounty, I can see only two possibilities: Thomas Henry b 1790-800 orJohn M. Henry b 1820-25, son of Joseph Henry. Diceyis believed to beeither the oldest daughter b 1804 or one of the younger ones b c 1821" BH
