Tara came to us from Nahrof Border Collies in Australia. In February 2002, Darren and I flew to San Francisco, California and met Tara's plane and then flew home to New Jersey with her. She won our hearts the moment we met her. We cannot thank Lauren Somers and Errol Badior enough for this wonderful little girl. Tara has a beautiful structure, exceptional movement and a lovely, sweet temperment. We have nicknamed her "Busy" because she is always busy doing something and has a very inquisitive nature. She learns very quickly and has a strong desire to please. Tara won her first major towards her AKC champion title at 6 months, 1 day old and won her first Best of Breed over competition from the 6 to 9 month puppy class at 6 1/2 months. She earned her AKC Champion title at 9 months, 5 days old from the puppy classes finishing in style with a 5 point Major and winning Best of Breed. Tara has won several Best of Breeds over Specials. Tara is the youngest bitch from Nahrof Border Collies to earn her conformation Champion title. The AKC Results as of October 7, 2002 had Tara ranked in the AKC Top 25 by Breed, all at just 10 1/2 months of age. Tara will be pursuing obedience, rally and herding in the future.
