7 October 2008 - For the 3rd year in a row, Cahir receives an invitation to the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship Show.

4 October 2008 - Gossip earns her second Puppy Herding Group win at 4 months of age at the Penobscot Valley KC Match!

September 2008 - Gossip, our most recent addition, wins a Puppy Herding Group 1 at 3 months of age at a KC Match.

August-September 2008 - Cindy and Darren go to Australia! We had a GREAT time in Australia visiting with Lauren of Nahrof Border Collies; Melissa and Brett of Benshiva Border Collies; and Jacqui of Kayani Border Collies, and getting the opportunity to meet all of their lovely dogs in person. We even managed to get in some sightseeing and shopping, and met some really great people...Terry, Greg and Robin. Many thanks to Lauren, Melissa, Brett, Jacqui, Terry, Greg and Robin for showing us such a wonderful time!!!

4 May 2008 - Sonny and Juli win Best of Breed again from the classes over a ranked special at the York County KC of Maine, Inc., Acton, ME, and picked up a major towards his champion title along the way!

3 May 2008 - Sonny wins Winner's Dog at York County KC of Maine, Inc., Acton, ME.

9 March 2008 - Sonny and Juli win Best of Breed from the classes over a special, 2008 Westminster BOS Winner, at the Saw Mills KC Show in White Plains, NY and then went on to win a Group 4!

4 March 2008 - Sonny, Jayden Lacey I've Got Ewe Babe, co-owned with Juli Lacey-Black, joins the Cashel Clan

8 February 2008 - Brendan, Invisible Red Touch From Borders Paradise, co-owned with Juli Lacey-Black, became a Cashel family member.

4 January 2008 - Cahir and Michael win a Group 2 the first day showing of the New Year 2008!

1 January 2007 - December 2007 - Cahir finished the year as Number 6 in AKC Breed Rankings and in the Top 10 AKC All Breed Rankings.

13 February 2007 - April 2008 - Cahir was featured in a 2007 Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show photo on the Wikipedia, an Internet encyclopedia, site under the reference about Border Collies. Cahir was the Border Collie (in profile) that was free stacking beautifully for his handler, Michael Scott.
