TARA'S PUPPY STORY AS TOLD BY TARA

My name is Tara King Bonnie Lass.  I was born on June 29, 1990.  My father and grandfathers are champion Westies.  In my litter, my mother delivered seven beautiful girl puppies.  Mommy, Daddy, and Emma first visited me when I was four weeks old.  I picked them out immediately (I had the pick of the litter).  They marked me, so that they wouldn't forget which puppy had chosen them.  They visited me every week, until I was old enough to go home with them.

When I came home to live with Mommy and Daddy, Emma was seven months old and much bigger than me.  Emma was so happy to have a new playmate.  She told me that Mommy and Daddy are not very good playmates, because they tire too quickly.  My high activity level really pleased Emma.

Emma had a lot of toys.  Here we are playing with her favorite miniature soccer ball.

Emma was always a bully.  She always tries to push me around.   It was easy when I was small, but I always stood up for myself.

In a few months, I grew to be bigger than Emma.  Emma is unable to beat me up anymore.  She is still Queen, because she is older.  Emma started to wear a purple collar, and I now wear a red collar.  Red stands for bravery.

The vacuum cleaner is one of our arch enemies.  We attack it, whenever Mommy and Daddy bring it out.  We know that the plastic hoses are vulnerable, and can be easily disabled.
