Among the great-granddaughters of Robert Cochran and Catherine Risher Cochran were the McKee sisters: Mary Jane McKee (Cable) Anna McKee (Walter) Emma McKee (Veder) Ella McKee (Renners) Thanks to Jane Englert, whose husband John Englert is a great historian of the Cochran family, for sending this photograph of three McKee girls. Left to right are Mary Jane McKee (Cable), Anna McKee (Walter) - although in some pictures she is marked Granhouse and not Walter, which is a bit of a mystery - and Emma McKee (Veder), the daughters of Joseph McKee and Angeline Cochran. All these women are cousins of the pioneer woman journalist Nellie Bly (Elizabeth Cochrane Seaman), b. May 5, 1864, d. January 27, 1923.
