Description

MetaDesk is a Litestep module that places 3D objects (in Metastream format) on your desktop. It is mainly meant for decoration, but it is possible to make any MetaDesk object a functional part of your Litestep theme just like a shortcut, wharf module, etc. For more information, please read the readme that comes with the module.

NOTE: To use this module, you must download the Metastream ActiveX Control and Netscape plugin from the Metastream Web Site.

Metastream models

The following is a list of the models that are distributed in the models.zip file.

e - It's just a simple e. I like to use it to launch my e-mail client.
Skull - A human skull. For those of you with those apocalyptic themes, this might be a nice vanity addition: a rotating skull.
DinoSkull - A Tyrannosauraus Rex Skull. Quite a nice model, though I would think not too many people will find a use for it.

Please read the readme about obtaining more Metastream models. As is the Litestep style, if there's a model out there that you'd like made, but can not find, ask for it on the Litestep mailing list and you might just get it!
