Lake Brandt - Greensboro, NC

Lake Brandt is a 785 acre municipal reservoir.  The lake was originally built in 1925 and raised to its present level in 1958.  The lake is located on Lake Brandt Road approximately 2 1/2 miles north of the Greensboro city limits.

The lake features fishing, sailing and canoeing.  Fishing is most successful for largemouth bass, crappie, bream, and catfish, but other species are often caught.  Presently fishing boats (rowboats) and canoes are available for rental.
