Until a few months ago, I had no idea this
even existed.
The box suffered sever water damage, that's
why the
white launcher is a brownish color at the
bottom
It's a plastic base with a launch tube sticking
up
and has an air bellows foot pump attached.
The young astronaut stomps down on the air
pump
and a projectile probe is expelled from the
tube.
I also found out why these are so rare.
It seems they were recalled because a few
kids got
hurt by the probe as it left the tube at high
speed.
If you stomped down hard, flights of a couple
of
hundred feet high were possible.
