N Scale trains
The second smallest size in model railroading
Updated 11- 27- 07

This is one of two portable N scale layouts. The legs can be removed for transporting.
It's been in three train shows and is shown here with the Plexiglas "kid shields" removed.
It is 35 inches wide, 56 long and the main deck stands 40 inches off the floor. Powered by one
transformer it can still run 3 trains at once. Two with no problem at all, three if the engineer is paying
close attention. The tracks are wired as 3 separate "blocks" or switchable circuits with the main
being "hot" all the time and controlled by the main throttle.

Here's a view from the opposite side of the table. The little men on the loading dock are 1/4 inch tall
which represents about 6 feet in N scale. All switch tracks are remote controlled.

this layout has undergone massive improvements.
I will have new pics up soon.
