The next phase of development for Matt was purely
cosmetic.
Mattel had refined the wire skeleton frame
in the early stage and it did
not change throughout the product's lifespan.This
final change consisted of a darker
colored ( more flesh like ), slightly larger
head and black straps on the space suit.
