McKinley Park Library has two display windows, viewable from both the inside, as well as the outside of the library. Seasonal and thematic changes take place. The north window is provided by FOMPL, which prepares the window for various thematic or seasonal events. FOMPL prepared the windows below to pay tribute to the victims of the day evil attacked America, September 11, 2001, as well as honoring the victims of the Holocause. This September 11th display featured a handcrafted, paper scale model of the World Trade Center Complex, along with poems written by children of the victims. |
