About FOMPL

FRIENDS OF McKINLEY PARK LIBRARY, (FOMPL) is the official support organization for the McKinley Park Branch Library of the Chicago Public Library System.  The purpose of the organization is to maintain an association of persons interested in supporting the library; to focus attention on the resources available in the library; to stimulate the use of the library; to receive and encourage gifts to the library; and to support and cooperate with the Chicago Public Library System, in developing improved services and facilities for the community it serves.

The officers of the organization are all volunteers, and all income from fund-raising efforts is 100% directed to the benefit of the McKinley Park Library.

The officers are: Dr. Robert M. Bara, President; Mrs. Annamarie A. Bara, Vice-President/Secretary; and Mr. Emanuel Calderon, Treasurer.
