2/8/2008 : 46th Annual New York State Championships- The New York State High School Wrestling Tournament will be held at Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, NY on March 8-9, 2008. Tickets can be purchased thru (Ticketmaster website) or you can buy directly from the Blue Cross Arena box office ((585)454-5300) and save the additional service charges from Ticketmaster.

11/18/2007 : Union Endicott (Away) Tournament - January 5, 2008 - Quality Inn - 7666 Route 434, Apalachin, NY, 13732 - Phone: (607) 625-4441 (Hotel website) - The parents rooms are $75 and you just need to call and say you would like one of the rooms that Dave Schickler has reserved to get that rate. The boys stay overnight on Friday the 4th and wrestle on Saturday the 5th. They will be leaving right after the tournament is over to go home so no need for rooms on Saturday night.

11/18/2007 : Columbia (Away) Tournament - December 29, 2007 - Fairfield Inn - 124 Troy Road, East Greenbush, NY 12061 - Phone: (518) 477-7984 (Hotel website) - The parents rooms are $84 for king or 2 doubles. The boys stay overnight on Friday the 28th and wrestle on Saturday the 29th. They will be leaving right after the tournament is over to go home so no need for rooms on Saturday night.

11/9/2007 : Booster Club Meeting - Monday Nov 26th, 2007 at 6:30 pm in Coach Cannon's classroom (rm. 162 in the high school). We are always looking for new parents to help us in showing support for our wrestlers. So if you're interested, please come out and join us.

11/9/2007 : Mandatory Parent/Coach Meeting - Thursday Nov 15th at 6:00 pm in the high school (LGI room)- For those parents that are new to the JV/Varsity wrestling program, this meeting is a great opportunity to get to know and ask questions of your son's coaches (before the season starts). Some very important information will be distributed that night and all parents (even those who have been in the program for awhile) should plan on attending, and not just sending their child. As we all know, seldom does info given to our kids at school make its way home in a timely manner.

9/30/2007 : Bottle Drive - Sunday, Oct 21st from 11 am to 4 pm at the Sunking Recycling Center in the village. All Wrestlers and Parents that can come, please do so to help the club. Also Parents, please save your bottles and cans.

9/30/2007 : Annual Wrapping Paper Fundraiser - Yes the annual wrapping paper fundraiser is under way yet again, so please take note of this important information. The money is due back to Coach Cannon on or before October 9th. Also the goal for each wrestler is to sell at least 150.00 worth of stuff. Wrestlers and Parents please do not wait until the last minute!

3/19/2007 : Open Mats - Wrestlers (7th grade and above), the fun is back again. Please join Coach Cannon every Tuesday and Thursday night from 6:15-7:30 pm at the high school wrestling room. This session of open mats will run from March 20th till the end of May (excluding spring break).

1/26/2007 : Parents Needed - January 28, 2007 at Noon - We will be making the wrestling banners for our boys again this year and we need your help. Please come to Spencerport Rental (Ridge Road) and lend a hand. I know the boys appreciate them, so come for as long as you can and support our sons.

1/26/2007 : Greece Athena Dual - February 3, 2007 at 7:00 pm - If you haven't seen the schedule in awhile you may not be aware that this Varsity (only) dual has been added. It will be at Greece Athena on Long Pond Road.

The boys wrestle early on Friday (10:30 am) and get done late on Saturday (9:00 pm ish) so plan accordingly.

The boys wrestle on Saturday the 13th and they will be leaving right after the tournament is over to go home so no need for rooms on Saturday night.
