Sedona

Sedona is a lovely town of about 7500 in "Red Rock" country. Its scenery is such that it attracts many tourists. There are tons of artsy shops which actually sell quality merchandise (albeit at a price). We went to Shugrue's Hillside Restaurant which has good food and spectacular scenery. The Cowboy Club's food left something to be desired but is worth the trip, especially if you sit at the bar. We met oodles of tourists including Brits, Aussies, Krautheads, and yes, even some people from the states! In addition, we had the bugs hand washed off our car at the Red Rock Car Wash for about 13 bucks. Such a bargain!

We stayed at the Arroyo Roble Hotel which is perched on the side of a canyon. Views from the balcony.

Pat and some new friends at Son Silver West, a real neat shop south of town. Another is Garland's Navajo Rugs in town. Both have class goods.
