Here is the info on the A.A.M.O.B.B.T. (Anthony's Annual Men's Only Bocce Ball Tournament.)

Overall records after the regular season: Glenn and Jay were undefeated 8-0

Chuck and Charlie finally won a game defeating Pete and Anthony 9-7 .
The playoff defending champs got the number one seed and a first round bye along with
Bob and Brett getting the 2nd seed and a bye.

The three seed Patrick and Mike played the 6 seed Tank and Chuck (Dave had to leave, and Chuck took Dave's
place). Of course Patrick and Mike lost to them 12-8 and Mike then protested the rest of the tournament
after being knocked out by an "illegal" team according to Mike [Editor's note: "What a pussy!]. The commish
ruled that since Chuck was on the worst team, and he did pay 20 dollars, he could go on Tank's team. that since Chuck was on the worst team, and he did pay 20 dollars, he could go on Tank's team. Of course if Mike and
Patrick had beaten them then Mike would have not complained.

The forth seeds, Mush and Chris, beat the 5 seeds Brian and Lenny Mush (father and son vs father and son).
This great match ended 12-11.

The defending champs took on the 6 seeded Chuck and Tank, an illegal team according to Mike. This semifinal
match was close with the champs being upset by the worst team in the playoffs 12-11.

The second seed Brett and Bob lost to the fourth seed chris and mush 12-10.

Both the number one seed and the second seed had to settle on playing in the consolation match for third
place. The number 2 seed crushed the champs 15-4.

What that meant was the defending champs who went undefeated in the regular season won just as many
games in the playoffs as Anthony (your humble correspondent), who was not even in the playoffs, did. To
wit, none. Suckers, "no soup for you" a little soup nazi from Seinfield.

In the championship match Mush and Chris toyed with the illegal team Chuck and Tank 15-5. Next November
Mush and Chris are the defending champs and the only team established for next years tournament, except
for Chuck and Charlie. Since they finally won a game Charlie would now have to pay the entrance fee of 20
dollars. That measly win will cost him 20 dollars a year for the next 15 years. [Editor's note: And don't think
Chuckie is taking that lightly!].

The payouts were $60 each for 1st place, $40 dollars each for second, and $20 dollars each for third.
