In winter it's Chile! Why not escape winter's doldrums and fly to the sunny south for some of the wildest whitewater on earth? We offer intermediate, advanced and expert trips in the warm waters of the Lake District and Patagonia that run the spectrum from the aquamarine waterfalls of the Fuy, and steep creeks of the Trancura, to the fabulous big water of the Futaleufú. During these road supported day trips, we visit hot springs, and camp or stay in cozy hospedajes. For non-paddling friends, we have lightweight, two person, inflatable Shredders available. |

We are fortunate to have access to the largest private park in Chile, Parque Pumalín. Based out of a chartered boat in Cahuelmó Fjord, we paddle tranquil coastal waters in single and double sea kayaks during the mild and often sunny months of January and February. On shore we hike and camp in virgin temperate rainforest, and afterwards soak in other worldly hot springs. |

Southern Chile is a hiker's paradise. In the austral summer we base out of the friendly hotel and environmental center ¡ecole! in Pucón, often referred to as "Éthe hippest place north of the South Pole." Our treks enter primeval sanctuaries of araucaria forests in El Cañi and Parque Nacional Huerquerhue, and cathedral stands of alerce trees-the redwoods of the southern Andesin the Yosemite-like Río Cochamó valley. Down at "uttermost part of the earth" we offer alpine treks in famed Parque Nacional's Torres del Paine and Los Glaciares in neighboring Argentina. |
