Bonfils Blood Center wants to remind you that you can be a life preserver this summer by giving blood. Donations decrease by as much as 20 percent during June, July and August as blood donors get busy with travel and activities, but the need for blood can increase during summer months due to seasonal accidents, scheduled surgeries and medical treatments.

Qwest Pioneers hosts blood drives in the Cafeteria Conference Room at the Zuni Building.  Bonfils Blood Center needs 4,350 volunteer donors each week to meet Colorado's needs so please contact Harlan Shively  or Jon Berquist at today to schedule an appointment to donate blood.

It is one of the easiest ways to volunteer with each donation taking less than an hour. When you give blood it is always needed and always appreciated.
