Northeast Georgia has long been known for its folk potters.   FOLKPOTTERY.com  is a local source for a variety of North Georgia folk pottery.  We will be bringing you folk pottery from many different artists.  Our specialty being Meaders folk pottery.  We have pottery available from all the Meaders family, including Lanier Meaders, Reggie Meaders, Edwin Meaders, John Meaders, CJ and Billie Meaders, David Meaders, Anita Meaders and AG Meaders.

In the coming months, we will be providing a brief history of folk pottery beginning with potters from our local area of Northeast Georgia.  Our personal knowledge and familiarity with some of the families will help us to give you a unique insight into some little known history of many of Georgia’s well known potters.
