Introducing JON COLLARD
as our new "Developer of Small Group
Ministry"
Jon was born and raised in Colorado and later moved to Arizona to
finish his teaching degree at Arizona State University. There in
Tempe, he met his wife Jamie at a church college group. They moved
to Fresno in 1990 and had 4 beautiful children: Garret, Maecie,
Adie and Tori. Jon has taught English at Fort Middle School and
Roosevelt High School, and he is presently teaching at Bullard High
School. Jon and Jamie have been involved in starting a small group
ministry and leading small groups. They have been at First Mission
Covenant for the last year, Jamie serving in the nursery, children's
church, and women's ministry and Jon serving on the worship team
and children's church. Jon will continue to volunteer in theses
two areas while also investing a minimum of 6 hours a week into
weakest areas in the life of our church, so please PRAY OFTEN FOR
JON AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF SMALL GROUPS as this ministry is a key
ingredient necessary for our church to grow. New people need a place
where they can develop significant relationships and grow in their
relationship with Christ.
