I do trial photography for an income and rely on orders for reprints from my customers to continue to be able to offer my photography at new trials. I'm flattered if you like a photo that appears here and would love to provide a high quality photographic reprint for you at very reasonable PRICES. Please respect my business efforts. You are welcome to link people directly to the FLASHDOG! home page so they can view your dog but downloading images without permission is bad for your karma! Magazine and Newsletter Photos
Ordering photo reprints does not automatically allow you to use them for commercial purposes without first obtaining permission. People often want to use herding photos in breed magazines and newsletters for advertising litters or brags. Please contact me first! It's exciting for me to hear where my photos are being displayed! Often it will just be a matter of being sure photos are credited properly to FLASHDOG! Sometimes a nominal industry standard royalty fee will apply depending on the scope of the commercial use. Proof Prints
I provide full size proof-prints of all shots to my customers for a nominal shooting and shipping charge. I find customers appreciate these 3 1/2 x 5 inch prints far more than the small contact prints many photographers provide. To encourage that these prints are only used for proofing purposes, they will have a diagonal black line through the photo indicating it is a "proof" print. If you like a photo well enough to carry it in your wallet to show off your great dog you don't really want to have a big black line through it, do you? Spend the $3.00 and get a good reprint!
