      Spaghetti With Shrimp And Peas

      *Ingredients*

      1 lb. spaghetti (or other pasta shape)
      2 tbs. olive oil
      1 lbs shrimp, peeled and deveined
      1 1/2 cups peas, cooked
      1/4 cup onion, diced
      1 cup mushrooms, sliced
      1/4 cup white wine
      1 cup heavy cream
      1 tbs. fresh Parsley, chopped (optional)
      Parmesan cheese (optional)
      salt and pepper to taste

      *Preparation*

      Cook pasta according to package directions.  Set aside.

      Add olive oil to a large preheated skillet.  Saute shrimp until browned.  Add onions, mushrooms, peas and wine, and simmer 3 to 4 min.

      Add heavy cream and simmer until mixture is slightly thickened.

      Add pasta to sauce amd mix thoroughly.  Add salt and pepper to taste.  Top with Parmesan cheese, parsley  (if desired) and serve.
       

      Serves: 6 - 8
