German Sweet Chocolate Pie
*Ingredients*
1 pkg (4 oz) sweet baking chocolate
1/3 cup milk, divided
4 oz cream cheese, softened
2 tbs sugar
1 tub (12 oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 prepared graham cracker crumb crust (6
oz)
*Preparation*
Microwave chocolate and 2 tbs milk in a large microwaveable bowl on HIGH for 1 1/2 to 2 min. or until chocolate is almost melted, stirring halfway through heating time. Stir until chocolate is completely melted.
Beat in cream cheese, sugar and remaingin milk with wire wisk until blended. Refrigerate 10 min. Gently stir in 3 1/2 cups of the whipped topping until smooth. Spoon into crust.
Freeze 4 hours. Let stand at room temperature
for 15 min. before cutting pie. Serve with remaingin whipped topping.
Store pie in freezer.
