      Easy Marble Bark
           & Chocolate Bark

      *Ingredients*

      6 squares semi-sweet baking chocolate
      1 pkg. (6 oz) white chocolate baking squares
      1 cup toasted* chopped nuts or flaked coconut (see below)
      (maybe 1/2  cup of each)
       

      *Preparation*

      Microwave semi-sweet and white chocolate in separate bowls on high 2 min. or until almost melted, stirring halfway through heating time.  Stir until completely melted.

      Stir in 1/2 cup nuts or coconut into each bowl (or half cup of either, in either white or semi-sweet chocolate).  Alternately spoon melted chocolates onto wax paper-lined cookie sheet or tray.  Swirl chocolates together.

      Refrigerate 1 hour or until firm.  Break into pieces.
       

      Serves:   1 lb. of bark candy 

      Chocolate Bark

      Prepare Marble Bark as directed, omitting white chocolate.  Use 12 squares semi-sweet baking chocolate or 3 pkgs (4 oz each) German sweet baking chocolate.
       

      *Toast in baking pan in 350 degree oven 7 to 12 min., stirring frequently.
