Hi All,
It's been awhile since I've posted anything, but I was talking to
ListMom Lisa :))) and We thought, what better time for a challenge? So, with just over 2
weeks till Valentine's Day, and being the Valentines how about some great, romantic
stories about our favorite Val couple?
And since I'm issuing the challenge, here's my humble story. It's short, but to the
point, I hope. Enjoy!!!
Lucien LaCroix smirked slightly as he watched his son storm out of the morgue, carrying a large bouquet of red roses. His smirk deepened slightly as his son slammed the flowers against the wall and took off in a squeal of rubber. Shaking his head in amusement, he headed for the door.
Natalie Lambert scowled at the clock on the wall -- 11:55 p.m., February 13, 2001. She was in a bad mood. Nick had been by, trying again at "win her back." Ever since she had told him that they could never be more than friends, that there was someone else, he'd swung between grief and jealousy.
Tonight was the last straw. She'd told him if he couldn't accept only her friendship then he should leave her alone. He'd gaped at her, then stormed out.
As she watched, the clock hit 12 a.m. She sighed heavily. Once again, she was alone on Valentine's Day.
Before she could formulate her thoughts, strong arms slid around her, and a deep resonate voice whispered in her ear, "Happy Valentine's Day, mon couer."
Natalie turned around and smiled. Pulling his head down toward hers, she whispered, "Happy Valentine's Day, Lucien," just before their lips met in a deep passionate kiss.
The End.
