                                                                           Roosevelt Lake Bass Fishing

 Hi fisherman,
Another week has passed and so has another great fishing trip.  Roosevelt Lake is getting better fish are moving closer and closer to the bank.  As the day warms up both Crappie and bass are moving into shallow water.  I'm catching most bass in less then four feet of water mainly on inside points.  Most of the bass we caught  this past weekend were above the slot limit (13 to 16 inches) which is about a two half to four half pound fish.  Plus I'm seeing Eagles a around the lake.  If you can get out you need to do so as soon as you can.

Me with the Smallest all day.                              Jack and a nice bass.

I have been fishing Roosevelt for the past three weeks.  The lake is about 40 percent fall so I'm able to fish very close to the " boat launch so if you seen my page last year you will know that I catch a lot of fish the closer I get to the vote launch. Fishing has been OK but not great but it looks like last year's spawn was real good lots of little fish being caught.  No one bait is working consistently hour to hour and day to day I have had to use a variety of crankedbaits and spinnerbaits.  In order to catch the fish I have been able to catch this year.  Daisy has been Fishing with me on the boat this year for the first time, she has gained a wealth of knowledge about the boat other dogs and animals around the lake. the funnest thing Daisy did on the boat was she found out that dogs can't walk on water.  Dogs do know how to swim. Daisy and me saw a Bald Eagle and took photographs of the eagle.  Have fun me and daisy will see you at the lake.
