Sunny & Carter's Kit Diary 2004

06/06/04 - Sunny's kits are now 8 weeks old and one of the girls has left for her new home already. These kits are also dark, and so very cute!

Dark Sable Jill (Sue) - 15oz


Dark Sable Jill with knee spots (Joni) - 1lb 1.5oz


Sable Hob (Helen) - 1lb 4.5oz


05/20/04 - Sunny's kits are 5 weeks & 5 days old today. They seem small to me, but compared to other litters - they are right on track. They are so dark, it's amazing. I hope these pictures come out good - I tried a darker background for good contrast :o)

05/13/04 - The babies are growing so fast, at 4 weeks and 4 days old - they have just started to open their eyes. The girl with knee spots is the first to see the world completely :o) Here are some new pictures I took last night. Sorry for the crappy quality, it was late and the kids were not wanting to cooperate! LOL

05/08/04 - It is no surprise to me that these kits have all been reserved. They are so dark, and very cute! I can't wait for them to open their eys so I can meet them!! They are almost 4 weeks old here.

Dark Sable Hob (Helen) - weighs 176 grams (6 1/8oz)


Dark Sable Jill (Janice - front, right paw) - weighs 156 grams (5 1/2oz)


Dark Sable Jill (Sue - front, left paw) - weighs 144 grams (5 1/8oz)


Dark Sable Jill (Joni - rear, left paw) - weighs 156 grams (5 1/2oz)


05/03/04 - Sunny's kits are so adorable and dark! They are 23 days today (just over 3 weeks) and I have marked them as well, so starting today - we get individual pictures to share :o) All but the boy have been spoken for.

Dark Sable Hob - weighs 126 grams


Dark Sable Jill (marked on front, right paw) - weighs 114 grams


Dark Sable Jill (marked on front, left paw) - weighs 104 grams


Dark Sable Jill (marked on rear, left paw) - weighs 112 grams


04/24/04 - Sunny's babies are 2 weeks old today! They are very dark and all the girls have black(ish) noses! The three girls weigh 56, 58 & 60 grams each and the boy weighs in at 70 grams.



04/18/04 - These kits are now 8 days old and still growing :o) They are picking up the pace now and still getting darker!



04/13/04 - Sunny's kits are now 3 days old and growing steadily. They are darkening already and all four have color on their noses. :o) I believe they are 3 girls & 1 boy...but we will wait to be sure still.



04/10/04 - Sunny gave birth one day early, as I suspected she would! Although she did not have as many babies as I had thought, the four that she did deliver are doing terrific! All four have some degree of color on their noses, one is very much darker than the others. It will be exciting to see what color they end up being :o)
