Phoenix & Streak's Kit Diary 2004
06/06/04 - It's been a long 3 weeks since our last update and we apologize. Only one of Phoenix's kits remains at home, and she is still available. Phoenix has slimmed down a bit, I've been exercising her...now she weighs 3lbs and only 5oz!
Sable Mutt Jill (Available) - 1lb 8oz
05/20/04 - Phoenix's babies are 8 weeks & 4 days old now, Sage has left home and the others will soon follow. Phoenix is up to 3.10 pounds! I took some pictures of her below, you might be able to read the scale reading if you look close enough! These kits are very big already, the sable boy almost weighs 2 pounds himself!

05/13/04 - Phoenix & Charlie's kits have been playing together for the last few days and quite well. Phoenix's babies are so big in comparison, it's their German bakground (plus it doesn't hurt that momma weighs 3.7lb's herself!) These guys are 7 weeks, 4 days old. I will miss them dearly when they are all gone :o(

05/08/04 - Phoenix's kits just keep getting cuter! They are just shy of 7 weeks old and they are HUGE!

05/03/04 - Phoenix's kits are 6 weeks old today. They are very, very cute and unique in their own ways. All of these kits are little porkers and sweet kids.

04/24/04 - These kits are just one day shy of their 5th week birthday! They are so cute & have their eyes open :o)

04/18/04 - Phoenix's babies are 4 weeks old today (28 days). They should be opening their eyes this week, I can't wait! They eat their chicken soup mix twice a day like good babies and they are very big :O) I've included their current weight(s).

04/13/04 - At 23 days old now, the babies are so big and so very cute! They are going to start on mush today, and I'm sure they will be excited to get messy. They are much bigger than Charlie's litter only 2 days younger than them. Today we have some individual pictures for you to enjoy of the kits.

04/09/04 - The babies are now at 19 days old and very, very cute! I'm really not sure how we got two sable mutts in this litter, but they are adorable..along with their silver sister & sable brother. We will most likely keep the silver female as she looks like her daddy Streak.

03/28/04 - The babies are one week old today and they have grown significantly since birth! We are very pleased that the four kits are thriving, definitely 2 boys & 2 girls. These kits are also getting dark & have colored noses :o)
03/23/04 - Sadly we lost one of Phoenix's babies today for unknown reasons. He seemed to be one of the larger kits, so it is a mystery. The four remaining (I believe 2 boys/2 girls) are doing ok. Here are some new pictures of the foursome..
03/21/04 - Phoenix had her babies in the early hours of the morning, of course while I was sleeping. She did just fine apparantly, only losing one. We expect her not to have any problems caring for the kits as she is an experienced mom :o) No albino's here! LOL
