09/12/06 - Donnie's kits are doing just fine - now 6 weeks old they are eagerly enjoying the natural diet that is being offered to them and continue to thrive.

08/30/06 - This litter is now 4.5 weeks old and have completely caught up in growing, just as I suspected. Almost all of them have their eyes open and this litter is also being raised on a natural/small prey diet. They have started with mice and so far, their have been no complaints from the kits or momma Donnie. I am quite pleased with their progress, but unhappy that so many of these darlings still need new homes. The temperment and structure of these white beauties is too much to pass up..

08/13/06 - Donnie's 'bino babies are doing well, but growing slower than I would like them too. Once they start eating mush they will catch up really fast though, so I am concerned very little at this point. They are now 2 weeks old and still albino's.. LOL Surprisingly - only a few remain to find new homes!

08/05/06 - Happy Birthday to us! One week old today!! Sadly, we did loose two of the little girls this week. The smallest jill did pass away on the 2nd day and on the 4th day one of the kits was found dead, the assumption is that it was suffocated in the sack.. very sad losses. On a more positive note, the remaining 8 albino kits (4 of each - boys & girls!) are doing very well and so is momma Donnie.

07/30/06 - Donnie's 10 little 'bino's are still doing very well, with the exception of the littlest one - weighing only 4 grams, it is surprising that she is still alive. The other kits weighed between 10-14 grams.

07/29/06 - We welcomed 10!!! little albino kits into the world this afternoon. I arrived home from work around 5pm to find 4 babies already born. I helped her with the next few, praying each time that it would be the last kit... but it wasn't.. 10 is a bit much.. she just *had* to beat her sister Sunny I suppose.. All but one of the kits are of great birth weight (especially for having so many in there!). One little one will most likely not make it, but we are keeping our fingers crossed. She is about 1/4 of the normal birth size. Anybody need a new albino?
