| My Retired Friends: | ||
| FFP's Midnight in Madison Black Sable Jill Born: January 23, 2005 Sire: FFP's Memphis Moonshine Dam: SHD's Donatella Fersace of FFP Madison was spayed in January 2008 and never bred. She actually only came into season once and I just decided that I had no interest in breeding her, so she got spayed. She is part of my biggest play group of 10, so Maddie will stay here with me forever. She is such a good girl and gives lovely ferret kisses. | ||
| FFP's Raven Black Sable Jill Born: August 22, 2006 Sire: SH's Meeko of WF Dam: FSF's Charlotte of FFP Sadly Raven will be spayed in Feb. 2008 and never bred either. Her momma Charlie passed away from a genetic disease - so we will not risk bringing other babies into the world that may have it too. Raven is a sweet, beautiful girl and she will stay with me too. | ||
| FFP's Munchlet Chocolate Mutt Hob Born: June 30, 2005 Sire: FFP's Munchen Helles of SHD Dam: SHD's Phoenix of FFP Munch got to retire in the spring of 2007 and quickly found himself a nice retirement home. He fathered a wonderful litter with Hailey in February and I felt that I now have a good representation of his bloodline, so he can retire and be a "normal" ferret. He is living quite comfortably on the eastern side of PA with a wonderful ferret family. Thank you again! | ||
| FFP's Spotsylvania Sable Mutt Hob Born: November 23, 2005 Sire: FFP's Silver Streak Dam: FSF's Charlotte of FFP Spot was retired in June 2007 and has gone to live with his brother Marley and human family just North of us. I am so happy for Spotty, he is getting along very well with his new family. |
||
| FFP's Miss Alabama Chocolate Point Jill Born: April 2, 2004 Sire: TCF's Jeagermeister of FFP Dam: FFP's Talladega Allie has been retired and she will live with us and her other ferret family. Sadly she just did not have any interest in being a mom so we will let her just be a ferret. |
||
| SHD's Sammy T. Bear of FFP Chocolate V-Hob Sam was neutered and retired in April of 2007. He will remain in Ohio with my friend Barb where he has lived his whole time I've had him. Sam is a master escape artist and can get out of any room I have available for play - so he lives with a great friend. He is very happy to be neutered and having ferret friends to live & play with on a regular basis. |
||
| SHD's Sonoma of FFP Sable Jill Born: May 24, 2003 Sire: SH's Me and My Shadow of FSF Dam: SHD's Gisborne's Gizzette Sunny was spayed in Oct. 2006 and is doing very well. Sunny was able to finish her showing career at GOLD level in December of 2006. She has been reunited with Charlie and is currently living with her daughter and 4 other jills. She will remain with us until her time at the bridge. |

FFP's Talladega Sable Mutt Jill Born: March 5, 2002 Sire: TF's Nanook of FFP Dam: SEMF's Miss Confetti of FFP Tally has been retired and spayed. She will stay with me for her remaining life as she is bonded to her cagemates (and me!). Talladega will receive her GOLD show certificate in March 2008 and was awarded Best Opposite Alter in December 2007, along with the Best Roan award. | |
| SHD's Donatella "Fersace" of FFP Albino Jill Born: August 3, 2002 Sire: SHD's Dragons Breath Dam: SHD's Gisborne's Gizzette Donnie has had her share of kits and was spayed in December of 2006. She will remain with us as she lives with some of her children and is very loving. | ||
| SHD's Valentine of FFP Albino Hob Born: April 4, 2002 Sire: SHD's Captain Morgan Dam: SHD's Goldschlager Valentine was neutered in November of 2006 and has retired to my upstairs ferret room. He now lives with other ferrets and is having a great time. Valentine will stay here with us since he found friends to live with. He is doing wonderful since his retirement, he has gained alot of muscle tone and weight - I will try to get him back into showing in 2007 to finish his title. |
||
| FFP's Martinsville Black Roan Mitt Hob Born: June 12, 2003 Sire: SHD's Valentine of FFP Dam: JM's Raising Arizona of FFP Martin was retired, neutered and adopted by my good friend Rhonda. He is doing very well at his new home and has lots of friends to live & play with too! | ||
| SHD's Bacardi Gold of FFP Champagne Hob Born: March 21, 2004 Bacardi was neutered and placed into a home with a very good friend of mine. He had been bred several times and never produced any kits. Roxanne loved him and wanted to give him a good home when he was retired, so I went ahead and let him go early. We will try to use his brother for the same breeding he was slated for instead. I am very happy for Bacardi to have a great retirement home and family :O) |
||
| DSS's Daytona of FFP Sable Jill Born: April 13, 2002 Daytona was never given the chance to be a mom, we found too many instances of lymphoma in her line and had her spayed. Daytona also did very well at the 2003 Winter Nationals, placing 2nd in the alter ring! |
||
| SHD's Dookter Dre of FFP Champagne Blaze Hob Born: August 8, 2002 Dre is a beautifully sweet champagne, who unfortunately is very deaf..and dumb! :o) Since he is deaf, he was never bred. He was neutered and lives with my "Marshall (farms) kids". Dre took 1st & 3rd in the alter rings 5/1/04..what a great boy!! | ||

| My "Pet Store" Ferrets: | ||
| Bailey Chocolate Male Birthday: 2/14/06 I adopted Bailey from the Hide-E-Hole Ferret Rescue. He had been surrendered to our local Animal Rescue League and was just a kit! I just adore chocolate males and could not resist his adorable little brown nose, so he came home with me... Bailey started his showing career in August at the Buckeye Bash and was Best Companion!! He also won the Shelter/Rescue class that day. He has continued to do well in championship and is even in contention for Companion of the Year!. | ||
| Rascal Sable Blaze Female Birthday: 2/16/06 Another adoptee from the Hide-E-Hole; one look at Rascal will explain why she is with me. ADORABLE!! Who could pass her by? She is also just a baby who was owned by a family prior to being at the shelter. The original owners thought that Rascal and her two female companions were all boys, hence their names... but considering that she is deaf and a little rascal, the name fit her well so I kept it. :O) Rascal also does very well at the show, with 3 first place Blaze awards under her belt so far. |
||
| Spanky Black Roan Mitt Male Birthday: 10/28/05 I adopted Spanky (formerly named Noodle) also from the rescue, to be a companion for Bailey. Bailey had no friends before Rascal & Spanky arrived ~ now the three of them are a motley crew. Spanky is a cute medium silver mitt, with surprisingly good mitts for a Marshall Farm ferret. He too has been awarded the Best Companion in show, at the Ferret Fandango in September of 2006. | ||
| Nicodemus Chocolate Mutt Male Birthday: Nico is only a foster kid, but we feel he is part of our family anyway. He is a great boy that is extremely people loving..he will lick you forever for attention. |
||
| Spike Sable Point Male Birthday: Spike was adopted from the Hide-E-Hole rescue in 2005 with his brother Mojo. They had been turned into our local Humane Agency and were just young boys. Spike earned his name for the unique red mohawk that he was sporting at the time of his adoption. His prior owners had shaved his fur on the top of his head into a mohawk and dyed it red. It has long since grown out, but he is still my little demon child. I had to purchase over $100 in playpens to keep him off of my computer desk and he still manages to get on it occasionally. | ||
| Mojo Chocolate Mitt Male Birthday: Mojo came in with Spike and is one of my sweetest kids. Mo will sit and lick you for hours or until you make him leave. He has pretty white paws on the front only and is a real lover boy. Sadly he has adrenal disease already in his short life but is on an experimental drug protocal with our wonderful vet and is doing incredibly well. |
