Arizona & Valentine's Kit Diary 2003

07/31/03 - Ari's boys are doing much better now....they have been staying with Tally & her kits for the last few days and I've noticed more of a difference in their eating habits. They love their new "brothers" and surrogate mom. All of these boys have been reserved. One is staying here with us and will most likely be a father himself in the future..

7/18/03 - Ari's babies are doing well at 5 weeks, but not as good as they should be. Sadly, mom lost her milk and I have been feeding them constantly to try to make up for the loss. They are progressing and gaining about 20 grams a day, but they are behind in their growth.

6/30/03 - The babies are about 18 days old now and they are so big! I am of course, fooled again..these are all BOYS! *sigh* I'd really like a little girl.. LOL

Looks like Mom

Either a sable or silver, possibly with mitts!

The darkest of the three

6/25/03 - Ari's babies are now two weeks old and they are getting very big and very cute too! One has a black nose already and the other two are darkening more each day. There may possibly be two girls, and just one boy in this litter...two are very dark and the other will look like mom.

6/16/03 - Ari's little one's at just 4 days of age.

6/14/03 - Ari had her babies right on time, at the stroke of midnight on June 12th the first little squeaker appeared! She delivered six kits total, two being much smaller than the other four and sadly only three have survived. These pictures were taken on their 2nd day with us.
