"Tripie"? Brooks Bryant
Another little cutie! The photograph was taken in Richmond, Virginia, but I cannot yet make out the photographer's name. I am not sure of the Tripie part of the name, it was on the back of the photo just above his name of Brooks Bryant, I assume it's a nickname for him? Now, here is some great info and I do need to check this out at the library. On the back also is inscribed his mother's name, and so too, his father's, it says, "Mrs. William Winfree Bryant nee Clarice Johanna Brooks". If you are directly related to these people, please send me an email!
Frank Converse
This handsome young man's photograph was taken in Louisville, Kentucky at STUBER & BRO. photographers. On the back is inscribed, "Frank Converse, Louisville, Ky." SO we are to assume that is also where he lived. Doesn't he look like the actor Frank Converse, too? I wonder if they are related? This picture is very tanned looking, may be stains. And, it is brighter around the portrait in a square so I assume it was in a frame for a long time.
Mary Flavia Converse
This photograph was taken in Louisville, Kentucky by D. STUBER Artistic Photographer. Obviously she is probably related to the above Frank Converse. Mary's photograph looks like to me that it was done several years later than Frank's. Also, Mr. Stuber had a fancy background with writing on the back of her photo, he had nothing on the back of old Frank's.
Could you be related to them?
Mrs. Thomas Wilson
Mrs. Wilson's photograph was not too long ago reunited with a direct descendat of hers!
