In my installation, the tank is mounted to the "X" fuselage cross member using 4 U-bolts, a sheet of .032 6061-T6 aluminum, a carbon-epoxy "boot" to prevent lateral movement, and 4 nylon straps to prevent vertical movement and provide restraint in the event of an accident. The tank can be installed/removed without any tools in less than 60 seconds for convenient servicing and it is located as far as possible from potential fuel and oil contact (which might occur if an oil line burst/leaked or if a fuel leak/spill occurred...both of which have happened to me).
The plastic line from the tank regulator is routed along the right wing root to a combined needle valve/flowmeter mounted just aft of the wing spar. In this position, I can adjust the flow as required to my pressure breathing mask even while wearing Nomex glooves.
There's a lot of excellent information at Aerox Systems . Check it out and consider getting an oxygen system for your plane.
