Shopping List

Here's a list of the supplies you'll need when you come to first grade!

TO BRING TO SCHOOL EACH DAY

A large backpack or bookbag with your FULL NAME on the outside

A lunchbox with your FULL NAME and TEACHER'S NAME on the outside

A snack sack with your NAME on the outside

A strong folder marked "Take Home Folder" with your NAME on the outside (laminated ones last longest...you may want to have a few extras for replacements throughout the year!)

TO KEEP IN YOUR DESK

**at least FOUR sharpened pencils with erasers with your name/initials on EACH ONE

**a wallet-sized photo of yourself

**a smock for art (an old shirt with the sleeves cut down is best...write your FULL name in large letters across the back as we wear it with buttons in hte back!)

**a three-ring binder with your NAME and POETRY BINDER written on the front (one inch is best)

NO NEED to bring a pencil case...we'll be using supply baskets this year! Also, no trapper keepers, etc...there's no room in our desks!

DONATIONS WE CAN ALWAYS USE!

THESE ITEMS ARE NOT PART OF THE FIRST GRADE SUPPLY LIST, BUT ARE ITEMS YOU MAY DONATE IF YOU WISH!

**Markers - classic colors and special colors (tropical, bold, stampers, scented, etc.)

**Dry-erase (white board) markers

**Glue sticks (not liquid)

**Craft items - any type such as pipe cleaners, wiggly eyes, buttons, foamie shapes, pom poms, etc.

**Paper goods such as plates, napkins and cups

**Baby wipes for quick clean-ups

**Writing center materials such as paper, envelopes and notecards and scotch tape

**Plastic baggies - any size

TO KEEP AT HOME FOR HOMEWORK USE!

sharpened pencils with erasers

glue (any type) and scissors

crayons, markers, craft items

plain white paper, colored paper, lined paper

dotted dice

coins and game markers (pawns)

a folder for keeping ALL of your spelling lists


Please bring ALL of the items marked with stars ** when you visit on September 4. The rest you can bring on the first day of school!
