A POETRY CIRCUS REVISITED

Ladies and gentlemen, children of all ages .. |
In the winter of 1972, at DePauw University in Indiana, a group of friends nicknamed the writing seminar they were taking as a winter term project The Poetry Circus. The name came to describe the time and the whole circle of would-be artists, friends and whoever else were apart of it. They all went out to make their lives and livings in more or less conventional ways but the core of the group stayed in touch over the years and in time added a few new people who seemed to fit with their circus family. Some continued to practice the arts they were practicing then. Some as part of their careers; some as a sort of semi-secret hobby.
Here is a sample of what some of them have been doing lately.
